OUR PEOPLE / Patrick Daly

Patrick Daly over 30 years experience working at a senior level in economic and enterprise development, investment promotion, trade and export promotion, and investment banking. He has worked in senior positions with the Norwegian enterprise and investment agency (Innovation Norway) as well as with Ireland’s investment promotion agency (IDA Ireland).

He has experience on projects in Europe (France, Norway, Sweden, North Macedonia, Moldova, Lithuania and Estonia), Africa (Sudan, The Gambia), Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan), Asia (Bangladesh, Thailand), The Caribbean (Dominica and Antigua and Barbuda) and South America (Argentina, Brazil and Suriname). Projects have included the design and implementation of  remote training programmes for IPA staff in Latin America and the IPA of Kyrgyzstan, a project to identify potential investors and support marketing activity for the IPA of Dominica in the Caribbean, a policy review study of policies and procedures which affect FDI to Sudan for UNCTAD; a training programme for the Board of Investment, Chambers of Commerce and IFC staff in Bangladesh on “Best Practice Methodologies and Techniques to Attract Investment”; and a project as resident Technical Advisor to the IPA of  The Gambia.
