William O’Brien

William O’Brien has more than 30 years’ practical experience in helping companies to grow and expand internationally gained during his career with IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland. He has particularly expertise in small and medium enterprise development, banking, venture capital, regional development, and corporate restructuring.

William’s primary focus is on the development of industry, both manufacturing and internationally traded services, with a resultant increase in national wealth creation represented by increased employment and export sales.

In recent years he has undertaken a large number of overseas assignments on regional development, attracting FDI, SME initiatives, government incentives, and industrial estate developments in Malta, Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Russia and The Gambia for a number of agencies including the EU, the World Bank as well as the German, Austrian, Saudi Arabian and Irish governments.
